Well, more like rain day.  The forecast was spot on.

If it had been fine I would have been walking around Grafton, but the rain is just hard and steady enough to make trips to the bathroom okay, but anything else would be rather miserable.  So I stayed in, watched some stuff on my computer, renewed my caravan registration, read some books…the usual.

Grafton is a big boating place, and in the past two days I’ve seen a lot of people staying in the caravan park overnight with their boats – probably just for a good night’s sleep before they head on home.  Those with small boats stay in the park’s cabins, but people with larger boats pull into a caravan site with the boat on a trailer, and then sleep in the boat.

The good news is that the forecast predicts sunny weather for the rest of my stay, so the days to come should be fine.
