Time to move onto Grafton!
Byron Bay in the school holidays is both expensive and fully booked, so it was time to move to the next stage of my journey – Grafton! I stopped for fuel along the way, which marks the first time I’ve filled up the car with the caravan still attached, so that’s another milestone reached!
I couldn’t fill up at the first station I pulled into, because they’d actually run out of diesel! I had to keep cruising down the highway until the next one.
I set up camp at the Glenwood Tourist Park, where I’ll be staying for the next week. I guess I must have looked like I had trouble reversing into the space, because one my neighbours offered to reverse it in for me. I thanked him but decline, because how else am I going to practice this stuff? And I’m not going to lie, it took me a while, but I got it eventually!

The Grafton home, complete with my shadow as I take the pic.
Good on you for practicing the reversing!! The pics from Byron Bay are great! Birds star again…. as well as night time critters. What’s there to do in Grafton? I’ll soon know….. Love Mum xx

You always see more birds than any other animal – probably because they’re flying around calling attention to themselves. I’ll be posting about Grafton soon!
